Das Department of Labor & Education ist verantwortlich für Arbeitssicherheit, Arbeitsentgelt, Arbeitszeitregelungen, Arbeitslosenversicherung, Vermittlung von Arbeitssuchenden und berufliche Weiterbildung. Darüber hinaus ist es für den Bereich der Bildung verantwortlich. Hier unterstützt es vor allem die städtischen Regierungen mit Fördermitteln und auch Weiterbildungsangeboten
