Die NSL Metal Division 2014 war die erste Saison der National Soccer League, die vom Astorian Sports Network organisiert wurde. Parallel zur Metal Division wurde auch die Saison der Steel Division ausgetragen An ihr nahmen sechs Teams teil. Die Zuorndung zu der Division erfolgte (anders als in anderen Sportarten) keiner regionalen Gesichtspunkten.

Nach der Division Season, die am 18. Januar 2014 mit drei parallel statt findenden Spielen begann und am 22. März nach zehn Spieltagen endete, folgte die Championship Season. Die Castle Rock Sharks konnten mit einem 4:1-Sieg gegen die Liaoning Wizards am 9. Spieltag der Division Season, sich als erster NSL Metal Division-Champion küren, da sie an den letzten beiden Spieltagen nicht mehr eingeholt werden konnten.
