Die Democratic Party ist eine politische Partei in den Vereinigten Staaten von Astor.
Die linksliberalen Demokraten sind eine der beiden großen Parteien Astors. Sie stellen sowohl im Senat als auch im Repräsentantenhaus mehrere Mitglieder. Die aktuelle Sitzverteilung kann man den entsprechenden Artikeln entnehmen. Außerdem stellen die Demokraten mehrere Gouverneure in den einzelnen Bundesstaaten.

Struktur[Bearbeiten]
Das Wappentier der Partei ist der Wolf; die traditionelle Farbe der Demokraten ist Blau.
Als Hochburgen der Partei gelten die nördlichen Ostküstenstaaten Astoria State und Freeland. Dies galt vormals auch für Chan Sen und Peninsula (heutiges Serena).

Political Factions[Bearbeiten]
Es gibt verschiedene politische Störmungen innerhalb der Partei.
Diese sind unter anderem: Hedgehog Democrats (wertkonservativ), Montana Democrats (Christliche Linke), Rainbow Democrats (LGBT-Rechte), Squirrel Democrats (sozialdemokratisch) und Blue Mustangs (libertär).
Geschichte und Entwicklung[Bearbeiten]
Die Partei wurde am 7. Dezember 2003 als die "Demokratische Partei Astors" (DPA) in Astoria City gegründet und ist somit älteste Partei des Landes. Im Februar 2005 wurde der Namen in "Democratic National Committee" kurz DNC geändert. Eine weitere geläufige Bezeichnung für das DNC ist "Democratic Party".
Im April 2009 hat sich die Partei umstrukturiert. Von nun an lautet der offizielle Name der Partei Democratic Party. Das Democratic National Commitee (DNC) ist der politische Führungskreis der Democratic Party.
